Finance & Administration

Twelfth Annual “New to F&A Day”

Tuesday, November 21, 2017

All staff members who have joined the Finance & Administration workforce since July 1, 2015 will be invited to attend the twelfth annual “New to F&A Day” to be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017. The day’s activities will provide information on the breadth and scope of Finance & Administration (which includes more than 1,700 employees in seven divisions); enlighten employees on opportunities for interaction in the local community; and create a means for networking within Finance & Administration, to include meeting the leaders of the various divisions

The concept of “New to F&A Day” was developed by the division-wide Finance & Administration Diversity Committee, and is implemented with the help of staff from the Office of Human Resources and the Office of the Vice President.

The day included the following:

  • Breakfast with Community Leaders
  • Presentation by the Vice President for Finance & Administration
  • Lunch with Finance & Administration Senior Staff
  • Tour of Selected Facilities (Complex Carbohydrate Research Center (CCRC) and the Ramsey Student Center)
  • Ice Cream Social

Please click here to view the 2017 agenda and additional information about the day's events.

Below is information which may be useful to employees new to the University and Athens and even to those who are not. Additional resource information will be included in participants’ packets the day of the event.
