Cara Molloy

Senior Manager of Real Estate Operations
Cara Molloy is the Senior Manager of Real Estate Operations for the Office of Real Estate within the Office of the Vice President for Finance and Administration at the University of Georgia. In her position, Cara works extensively in a variety of real estate management activities involving acquisitions, dispositions, portfolio oversight, lease administration, contract drafting and negotiation, strategic property development, and financial analysis. She works cross-functionally and collaborates with internal and external clients at the local, state, and federal level to ensure alignment and compliance with strategic goals of the University of Georgia, Board of Regents, and the UGA Real Estate Foundation, Inc.
Molloy further supports UGA’s real estate initiatives by assisting in managing the real estate activities of the UGA Real Estate Foundation, Inc., a non-profit organization created to administer assets for the long-term enhancement of UGA.
Molloy joined the Office of Real Estate in 2017 as the Real Estate Manager and was promoted in 2024 to her current role. Prior to joining the Office of Real Estate, she served as an Academic Advisor for the Department of Finance in the Terry College of Business where she advised finance and pre-business students. Cara began her career at the University of Georgia in 2015 where she served as an Appointment Coordinator for the Veterinary Teaching Hospital.
Molloy is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University where she serves as a board member for the Part-Time Graduate Business Association and for the Tepper Women in Business. Additionally, Cara is a candidate pursuing the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Designation from the CCIM Institute. She also holds a Master in the Study of Law concentrated in real estate, business, and transactional law, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate from the University of Georgia, in addition to a Bachelor of Arts in Modern Languages from Georgia Southern University.
Molloy is a native of Cordele, Georgia, but has called Athens home since 2012, where she resides with her family.
