Elizabeth Bellew

Interior Designer
Elizabeth Bellew is an Interior Designer, working in a split role between the Office of University Architects and the Office of Space Planning and Management. She’s held this role since 2018, managing renovation projects and handling a range of design needs, from outfitting individual offices for new faculty and staff to preparing full furniture packages for large capital projects. She also helps coordinate campus moves and sets up temporary spaces during renovations or relocations.
Bellew enjoys working with campus partners and collaborating on a variety of projects. She strives to incorporate universal design principles to create versatile, inclusive environments that enhance the experience of the university community and align with UGA’s mission.
Before joining UGA, Bellew worked in design firms specializing in residential, hospitality, and office design. She also has experience in retail management and marketing, which has strengthened her customer service skills and furthered her team-oriented approach to projects. She holds a BA in Comparative Literature and a BFA in Interior Design from UGA and is a member of the Association of University Interior Designers.
Bellew lives in Athens with her husband and two children.
