Tina Marohl

Executive Assistant III
Tina Marohl serves as the Executive Assistant to the Assistant Vice President and Chief of Staff in the Office of the Vice President for Finance and Administration (OVPFA) at the University of Georgia. She also supports the Special Projects Advisor, a dual role she has held since July 2022. In this capacity, Marohl plays a vital role in managing the daily administrative operations of the OVPFA, overseeing scheduling and communications, and contributing to event planning and strategic initiatives.
Marohl provides key support to several OVPFA committees, including the F&A Staff Recognition Committee, New to F&A Day, the F&A Culture and Belonging Committee, and the Mentoring for Operational Success program.
With over 25 years of dedicated service to the University of Georgia, Marohl began her career as a Laboratory Technician in the Department of Biochemistry at Franklin College. She later served as an Employee Training Specialist with UGA Dining Services for five years, where she was instrumental in staff development and training efforts.
Marohl is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree at the College of Coastal Georgia. She holds professional certificates in leadership, communication, client relations, and individual excellence from Valdosta State University. Additionally, she earned a Certificate in Phlebotomy from Athens Technical College and a Certification in Event Planning and Meeting Management from the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education & Hotel. Throughout her career, she has received numerous internal recognitions and certifications from UGA.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, Marohl is an active mentor through the University of Georgia Mentor Program, where she supports both students and staff in their academic, professional, and personal growth. She is widely recognized for her collaborative spirit, dedication to service, and commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Outside of work, Marohl enjoys traveling especially to her hometown along the South Carolina coast and cherishes spending quality time with her family.
