Kim Eberhart
Director of Special Projects
Kim Eberhart is the Director of Special Projects for the Office of the Vice President for Finance and Administration (OVPFA), a role she has held since March 2022. In this position, Kim chairs the Finance and Administration Staff Recognition and New to F&A Day Committees, represents OVPFA in the Elevation in Action group, and leads various special projects that support F&A’s goals and mission.
Eberhart’s career in Finance and Administration spans 25 years. Prior to her current role, she was the Communications Director for University Human Resources (UHR) and the OneSource Communications team, which was established after her work on the OneUSG Connect implementation project. Her earlier experience includes leadership roles in Benefits Accounting, Auxiliary Services, Central Accounting, and Bursar & Treasury Services within the Finance Division.
Eberhart holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting and business administration from Brenau University and a Master of Education, specializing in human resources and organizational development. She is currently pursuing a graduate certificate in organization coaching.
Originally from Toccoa, Georgia, Kim now lives in Winterville with her husband, Jack. They have two children, Cassidy and Anniston, and a grandson, Johnson. Kim is an active member of Athens Church, where she has volunteered in the children’s ministry for over a decade. A passionate Georgia Bulldogs fan, she loves cheering them on with friends and family.
