This web page has been established to serve as an information resource for University-wide initiatives shared via the Leadership Update on Major Initiatives (LUMI). The site will feature agendas and presentations made at LUMI meetings, other presentations of interest, and an archive of policy / procedure related announcements. The Leadership Update on Major Initiatives (LUMI) replaces the Business Affairs Advisory Forum (BAAF), which long served as an important informational meeting for a primary audience of business and human resource officers in UGA’s schools, colleges, and other units. The Leadership Update on Major Initiatives is intended to reach a broader audience and will be held twice per year, in February and October.

LUMI is focused on sharing information about high-level institutional initiatives and exists to inform any faculty or staff member with leadership and administrative responsibilities. Meeting content includes key University-wide initiatives. Please contact any member of the LUMI Steering Committee with your thoughts and ideas for future meetings.

A resource, “Announcements Archive,” is now provided on the LUMI Website (You are currently viewing that archive) in response to a request from the LUMI Planning Group. Policy- related announcements sent to the Business Services Listserv, Admin Memo Listserv or related business and administrative listservs since July 2011 are posted here. Please share this website link with others in your department so we can all make use of these resources.
